Robert Davis joined the Royal Navy July 1906 and first served on H.M.S. Fox for the Somaliland and Persian Gulf campaigns. He saw action in WWI on H.M.S Swift and Cockatrice and on Q Ship PC74. Davis was invalided June 1920 and died 1922 from Tubercole of Lungs.
