Nearly very fine and a scarce combination of clasps.
John Thomas Withers was born at Southsea on 9 June 1857, and joined the Royal Navy on 15 May 1879. He served ten years aboard Humber, from joining until June 1889, and died from gastritis on 22 February 1899 (ADM 188/131).
